Some good things God says about you

Writer's picture: Kristina TrottKristina Trott

Today I want to do a quick summary of what God says about you.

God has written your name on His hand (Isa. 49:16) so clearly He values you very highly. The Bible is full of God’s feelings towards you but here are some quick thoughts:

You’re His beloved, His child. (Gal. 3:26).

You are born of God. (John 1:12-13).

You’re a new creation in Christ. Your past is wiped out. You’re forgiven. (2 Cor. 5:17).

God put your sins on Jesus and He gave you His righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21).

God gifted you the righteousness of Jesus – you can’t work for it. (Rom. 5:17).

Christ lives in you. He sees you as valuable and precious. (Gal. 2:20).

You’re more than a conqueror.(Rom. 8:37).

You’re a mighty Warrior. (Judg. 6:12).

He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

You’re chosen. (John 15:16, 3:16; Matt.22:14).

You were created on purpose for a purpose.(I Pet. 2:9).

Your mouth is satisfied with good things and your youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psa. 103:5).

You’re gifted. (I Cor. 12:7-11).

You’re called. (Isa. 43:1).

You’re not alone. Ever. (Josh. 1:9).

When you fill your mind with who you are in Christ Jesus and say these facts aloud to yourself, guilt, condemnation, unworthiness, shame, inferiority, sin-consciousness and isolation will simply fall away.

What a wonderful God we have!
